01 February 2016
The City of Johannesburg will host an interfaith dialogue on Tuesday, 02 February 2016 at Soweto Theatre to discuss the role of faith-based organisations (FBOs) in promoting greater social cohesion and active citizenry in the City of Johannesburg.

Representatives from various FBOs will come together in Soweto for a conversation and debate on the role of religion in creating a society that celebrates diversity and supports ethical living.

The speakers include the Executive Mayor of Johannesburg, Cllr Parks Tau; Dr Mathole Motshekga; Rev Frank Chikane; Bishop Malusi Mpumlwana and the representative from the Commission for the Promotion and Protection of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL Commission).
