02/02/2017: MMC to conduct oversight at Joburg Arts Gallery following closing
02 February 2017
Today, the Member of Mayoral Committee for Community Development, Cllr Nonhlanhla Sifumba will be doing an oversight visit at the Johannesburg Arts Gallery.

Sifumba has closed the gallery to the public for the next three months for major construction work.

The closure follows intense rain and water damage on Monday, 31 January 2017, which left officials with no other recourse but to close the gallery, which is one of the leading heritage institutions in the City.

Members of the media are invited to join MMC Sifumba and her team on the oversight visit.

The visit will take place as follows:

Date: 02 February 2017
Time: 12.30
Venue: Johannesburg Arts Gallery

There will be interview and photo opportunities.
