Services interrupted due to industrial action
The City is committed to ensure that service delivery takes place during the Samwu strike. Where problems are experienced, the City apologises and reiterates its commitment to resolve the strike as soon as possible. The City's Customer Service Centres are affected by the industrial action and a list of EasyPay outlets[PDF, 107kb] can be accessed by residents. We advise customers to log their queries through our Call Centre on 011 375 – 5555 for assistance. If you cannot get through our call centre number, customers may use the alternative channel like e-services to get their bills, and log service related queries. The e-services is secured by a pin code of your choice and ensures privacy and security for all email users. The following are easy steps to follow to register on line:
Log onto the City's website at www.joburg.org.za;
Select the "e-services" button on the home page;
You will be asked to enter certain personal information and to choose a username and password;
Once registered, you can log on with your username and password.
