Unplanned interruptions 1. Fourways: Please note that unfortunately the pipe kicked. This has led to the upgrade not being completed as per the predicted completion timeline. We apologise for the inconvenience and will keep customers updated throughout the day. 2. Ennerdale and Orange farm: Please note that we are monitoring water supply in Ennerdale and Orange farm for possible water challenges as Rand water has some challenges related to electricity. If the supply drops below the minimum level, we will advise. 3. Daily water supply system status updates: Thursday, 06 December 2018 (Afternoon) Water supply status update by exception (i.e. areas affected due to supply constraint and not service interruption from occasional pipe burst): supply across the City of Johannesburg is normal, with reservoir levels across the city in a satisfactory position. Unplanned interruptions 1. Please note that the depot has to closed water for Steyn City again as there is a leak on the newly installed valve. There is no ETR. The areas affected will be Farmall, parts of Chartwell and Steyn City. We will update once feedback is provided. • Runnymead Ave Cnr 3rd St • Watercombe Rd Cnr Zandspruit Rd • Cedar Rd Cnr Runnymead Ave 2. Please note Randburg depot has located a broken 160mm valve in Cedar Lakes. We will be isolating water for Cedar Ave West, Cedar Lakes and Cedar Creek within the next hour to repair the valve.
