REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS ON THE CITY OF JOHANNESBURG 2015/16 ANNUAL REPORT
In terms of Section 127 of the Municipal Finance Management Act, the Annual Report 2015/16
of the City was tabled before an ordinary council meeting of Thursday, 26th January 2017
and referred for formal consideration by the Municipal Public Accounts Committee and is
now available for public comments.
In terms of Section 127(5) of the Municipal Finance Management Act 56, the City
of Johannesburg’s Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) hereby invites written
submissions on the Annual Report 2015/16 of the City and its Municipal Owned Entities
from the public and any interested organizations in the City.
All submissions should reach the Committee on or before 10th March 2017.
NB: Council will consider the Oversight Report of MPAC and debate the Annual Report 2015/16
of the City of Johannesburg on Thursday, 30th March 2017.
