AREA SURROUNDING THUSO HOUSE BEING UPGRADED
The area immediately surrounding Thuso House, the building in which the City of Johannesburg's Revenue Department is situated, will be upgraded over the next two months as part of the Braamfontein Regeneration Project.
The upgrade consists of new paving, improved parking areas, increased lighting and other general features, is being implemented by the Johannesburg Development Agency.
Customers are advised that secure interim parking is available on the first floor of the Thuso House parkade. The entrance to the parking is on Stiemens Street, between Simmonds and Biccard Streets.
"The Braamfontein Regeneration Project is a very exciting one, as it is a good indication of the City's commitment to upgrading key business areas in and around Joburg. We are anticipating minimal customer inconvenience during the upgrade, but are well convinced that the improved end result will be worth it," commented Mandy Jean Woods, spokesperson for the Revenue Department." The City apologises for any inconvenience that customers may experience during their visit to Thuso House."
