The Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg Clr Amos Masondo will
officially launch the Elias Motsoaledi Housing Development in Soweto during
a sod-turning event on 23 March 2011.

The Elias Motsoaledi Project is a development that will yield 1463 fully
subsidised units (RDP) and 3000 units bonded or rental units. This
development will be built under the auspices of the Breaking New Ground
Policy, a mixed income development.

The details of the event are as follows:

Time: 08:00- 09:00

Venue: Elias Motsoaledi Informal Settlement (Cnr East Street & Axel

Street), next to Devland Industrial Place.
