​04-10-2012: Joburg celebrates World Environmental Health Day

The City of Johannesburg will host the World Environmental Health Day on Friday, 05 October 2012 at Metro Centre in Braamfontein.
 
As part of celebrating this day, the City of Johannesburg Environmental Health Directorate will be targeting Environmental Health Professionals and

professional bodies, Environmental Health educators, students, research institutions and other organizations representing the interests of the Environmental

Health.
 
The environmental health experts will share information on different topics including environmental health promotion and rodent control in the City of

Johannesburg. It will be conducted under the theme: “Placing Environmental Health at the Heart of Human Health - and Joburg 2040”.

The aim of the World Environmental Health Day celebration is to recognize the dedication and work of Environmental Health Practitioners, Environmental
