​19-09-2012: Joburg Transport Month activities designed to get residentd and stakeholders involved

Transport is an integral part of life and during October the focus on matters of transport is intensified. The MMC for Transport in the City of Joburg, Cllr

Rehana Moosajee, is really excited about the variety of events that the city has organised for this year.

“We have organised fun, innovative and exciting events which aim to get a wide variety of residents and stakeholders involved”, says Moosajee. “I appeal to

all residents and stakeholders to look at our calendar of events, and have no doubt that something on the programme is likely to interest you, “she adds.

 Our activities respond to the National Theme “Working together to provide a safe, reliable transport system”. Our focus on City of Johannesburg’s transport

values also sees us promoting a simple life truth: Caring is sharing.
