2012-08-10: Infrastructure pre-survey in Soweto

Johannesburg Water (JW) would like to inform the residents of Soweto of an infrastructure pre-survey that is currently underway in some parts of Soweto.

The service provider working for Johannesburg Water is checking the current water infrastructure and identifying what needs to be upgraded.

Areas that will be visited during the month of August include Meadowlands, Orlando West, Orlando East, Pimville, Klipspruit, Bramfischer (Ext.7,9,10),

Bramfischer (Ext.8,12), Bramfischer (Ext.13,14), Tshepisong South and North.

The technical team wrapped July with Emdeni, Zola and Zondi after successfully completing Protea Glen and extensions.

As a precautionary measure, employees working on the project will have clearly branded identity cards to avoid criminals gaining access to properties under

false pretence of working for Johannesburg Water.
