29-01-2013: Joburg tables a draft 2011/12 Annual Report
The City of Johannesburg will on Thursday, 31 January 2013, table its draft 2011/12 Annual Report, for written public comments.
The draft Annual report will be tabled during the official sitting of Council to be held in the Council Chamber, situated at Metro Centre – 158 Loveday Street, Braamfontein starting at 10:00.
Under the theme, “Building on a Legacy of Success” the Annual Report clearly indicate the manner in which the new administration has followed on the achievements of the previous decade.
The Report provides a comprehensive overview of the activities performed by all the City’s Departments and Municipal-owned Entities.
The City calls on its residents and stakeholders to engage with the Annual Report and to provide feedback through the existing channels. The Report will be available from all Regional Offices, Council facilities as well as the City’s website: www.joburg.org.za.
Residents and stakeholders are urged to participate to make Johannesburg a better place to work, live and play. Let us all help to build a resilient, liveable and sustainable urban environment.
