09-04-2014: Rates and Taxes Policy Draft 2014/2015
The City of Johannesburg ratepayers and interested parties were invited to get involved in the drafting of the 2014/2015 Rates Policy. This was an opportunity for ratepayers to share their views and suggestions on the Rates and Taxes Policy before implementation. This is in terms of the Municipal Property Rates Act 6 of 2004.
The City of Johannesburg is therefore inviting ratepayers and interested parties to the second phase; which is the viewing of the proposed and updated Rates and Taxes Policy Draft. From 01 April – 30 April the City of Johannesburg will host public meetings to present to the ratepayers the proposed and updated Rates and Taxes Policy Draft.
Due date for comments, submission and inputs is 30 April 2014. To view the updated Rates and Taxes Policy Draft visit www.joburg.org.za. Written comments can be:

•Faxed to: 011 727 0189
In addition to submitting comments via email and fax, comments on the proposed Rates and Taxes Policy Draft may be made orally at any of the public meetings that will be held regionally
