12-09-2014: City of Johannesburg municipal account statements delay due to post office strike
The delivery of the City of Johannesburg municipal accounts will be delayed due to Post Office workers being on an industrial strike.
The City of Johannesburg wishes to remind customers that they are still responsible for paying their accounts even though the statements will be delayed.
According to Spokesperson, Kgamanayne Maphologela, customers can contact the Call Centre on 0860 JOBURG (562 874) for their balance due as well as the due date.
Alternatively customers are encouraged to visit any Customer Service Centre nearest to them to get the duplicate invoice of their account.
MMSes will be sent to customers by the City of Johannesburg whose contact details are on record.
