12-09-2014: Temporary interruption of refuse collection services in the Sandton serviced areas

The City of Joburg’s waste management entity Pikitup would like to advise all residents and businesses that there is a temporary interruption to Thursday’s and Friday’s Refuse Collection service in the Marlboro Depot serviced areas.

Pikitup apologises to all affected residents and businesses for any inconvenience that has been caused or that may arise due to this temporary interruption. The Pikitup Marlboro Depot management is working to resolve the challenges faced.

The Affected areas are as follows:

A. Marlboro Depot Serviced Areas:

Buccleuch, Sandown; Kelvin; Wendywood; Illovo; Atholl and Alexandra Extension 7

All the bins in the aforementioned areas not picked up by 19h00 pm on Friday, 12 September, should be brought out in the morning on Saturday, 13 September 2014.
