18-08-2014: Clr Nonceba Molwele, Member of the Mayoral Committee for Health and Social Development in the City of Joburg, accepts training material donated by MSD South Africa in support of the National Family Planning Campaign

MSD South Africa, in partnership with the City of Johannesburg invites you to an event on Thursday, 21 August 2014, where the Clr Nonceba Molwele, Member of the Mayoral Committee for Health and Social Development, will officiate at a ceremony in support of the National Family Planning Campaign.

The National Family Planning Campaign was launched by Dr Aaron Motsoaledi, Minister of Health in February 2014. A new method of contraception, the sub-dermal implant was introduced in the public sector in February this year free of charge. The implant is inserted just under the skin on the upper inner arm of the woman and can be effective for a period of three years.
