The City’s Revenue Shared Services Centre is providing an opportunity to all corporate account holders, who is 60 days or more in arrears or have a query on their account, to attend the scheduled Open Day on 2 April 2014.

“The purpose of the Open Day is to provide our corporate account holders whose accounts are in arrears the opportunity to consult with us on possible outstanding queries and the settling of their outstanding arrear amounts,” said Stanley Maphologela, spokesperson for Group Finance.

Corporate customers with arrear amounts of their accounts are encouraged to attend this Open Day in order to settle their accounts and avoid being cut off.  Invitations have been issued to such customers but any corporate account holders that haven’t received such an invitation are welcome to attend and settle your arrear account.

Should this invitation be ignored, corporate account holders with arrears on their accounts will be placed in the queue for normal credit control processes and municipal services will be disconnected.  Customers are reminded that a disconnection and reconnection fee will be charged.

Customers must note that this Open Day is only planned for CORPORATE ACCOUNT HOLDERS and not for domestic account holders.

We value all our customers, and business in Johannesburg is a vital segment for Revenue Collection. Their committed payments go a long way to ensuring that the City is able to deliver the services required by the citizens of Johannesburg.
