03/02/2015: City of Joburg awards 20 matriculates top achievers with laptops and registration fees 
 
The  City  of  Johannesburg  will award 20 matriculates from the ‘no-fee schools’ who did well in 2014 with laptops, tablets and  registration  fees  on  Wednesday,  04  February 2015 at Metro Centre in Braamfontein.
The  children who study at these schools are from  disadvantage  communities in and around the City of Johannesburg.

These schools are a  shining  example of overcoming adversity and produce future leaders.

This  initiative  is  a  partnership  between  the City of Johannesburg and the private  sector. The learners will receive each a laptop, R5000 voucher for books and R5000 for registration.
 
The handover ceremony will take place as follows:
