11/05/2015: City Power twitter account is down

City Power twitter account is down and inaccessible this morning due to a technical problem. City Power IT staff is currently working on it.
We would like to apologize to our followers and customers whom we are unable to engage and update of City Power activities.

We are currently experiencing power outages in the following areas:

Midrand

Mayibuye
Phomolong
Rabie Ridge
Commecia
South of Johannesburg

• Lawley
• Ennerdale

Technicians have already been dispatched to go and attend to both outages.

Stage 1 load shedding that is currently in progress does not affect City Power customers.
