17/12/2015: Change in operating hours ar Thuso House during holidays

The City of Johannesburg wishes to advise its customers that, its main Customer Service Centre at Thuso House in Braamfontein would not be operating under normal hours during the holidays.
The City’s Spokesperson, Kgamanyane Maphologela says from the 17th December 2015 to 4th January 2016, the office will be open from 07h30 to 15h30 and on Saturdays the office will be closed during this period.

Kindly note that the office will resume full operation of weekdays from 07h30 till 18H00 and on Saturdays from 07H30 till 12h00 from the 05th January 2016.

Maphologela says customers can still be able to make payments using other channels during this period.

If you don’t like queues, you may pay use any of the listed methods below:
• With EasyPay, facilitating a quick payment option at many shops that you visit on a regular basis, including Pick ‘n Pay and Shoprite Checkers
• Debit orders
• Direct deposits at major banks
• ATMs
• Internet and cell phone banking
• SA Post Office
• Any Council pay-point (Customer Service Centre) – List below:

o Sandton Civic Centre – 24 Fredman Drive, Sandton.
o Roodepoort City Hall – C/o Berlandina and Dieperink Streets, Roodepoort.

If you have a problem paying your account on full and on time, you may!
Please come in and talk to our staff at any of the Customer Service Centers across the City. We can help you make a financial arrangement that suits you and will give you peace of mind.

If you didn’t receive an account this month you still have to pay!

If you haven’t received an account, either pay the same amount as the previous month or call Joburg Connect on 0860 Joburg to enquire as to how much you owe. You can also register to receive your accounts by email. All you need to do is to register on the City’s website at www.joburg.org.za and your account will be emailed to you monthly.

Paying your account timeously means you can enjoy the holiday season without the worry of outstanding debt.
