22/04/2015: City of Joburg Executive Mayor will officially open new R10.3 million clinic in Ivory Park

The Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Clr Mpho Parks Tau, will officially open the new Mpumelelo Clinic on Thursday, 23 April 2015 in Ivory Park.
The new R10.3 million facility will improve the quality of primary health care services received by the approximately 51702 residents of Ivory Park outside Midrand, Johannesburg.

Mpumelelo clinic was established as a prefabricated structure in November 1993 as an attempt to relief the overcrowding that was experienced at Hikhensile Clinic. It was constructed with asbestos which had a health risk element. It became a priority to the City of Johannesburg and it was demolished and rebuilt into a proper brick and mortar structure now.
