01/11/2016: Disruption of Rea Vaya service by illegal bus drivers’ work stoppage

The City of Johannesburg has been informed by the Piotrans and Litsamaiso (companies that manages Rea Vaya buses) that there is an illegal work stoppage by bus drivers this morning.

The City will engage with the bus operating companies to establish the cause of the service disruption.

We will provide regular feedback to passengers and the public through the media, our facebook and twitter on developments regarding the service.

The City apologies for the inconvenience caused by the disruptions of Rea Vaya BRT services.
