12/09/2016: Mayor to Deliver Acceptance Speech

The 2nd Ordinary meeting of the City of Johannesburg Council will be held in the Council Chamber, Ground Floor, Metropolitan Centre, BRAAMFONTEIN, on Tuesday, 13 September 2016 at 10am.

The Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Cllr Herman Mashaba, will deliver his acceptance speech, announcing a number of important developments to set the tone for this new administration.
According to the City’s Group Communications and Marketing, Council will among other items on the agenda consider the confirmation of Section 79 Committee and related Terms of Reference, election of Chairpersons of Committees and the election of Ward Committee in the City of Johannesburg for the new political term 2016 to 2021.

Members of the media are invited to this important Council meeting.
