15/08/2017: Mayor Mashaba to open new JMPD Satellite Station in Kenilworth

Tomorrow, 16 August 2017, the Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Cllr Herman Mashaba, and MMC for Public Safety, Cllr Michael Sun, will open the new JMPD Satellite Station in Kenilworth.

The scourge of drugs, human trafficking and other gang-related ills have robbed our residents of the freedom to enjoy their neighbourhoods, and the Kenilworth, Rosettenville and Turffontein communities have been directly impacted by these criminal activities.

This new satellite station has been donated by The Southern Business Community Forum and is a great example of how private-public partnership can work together to improve the quality of security in communities.
