City partners with Avis to fence area around creche as part of A Re Sebetseng
On Thursday, 7 December, Executive Mayor Cllr Herman Mashaba and officials from Pikitup and Avis will conduct an oversight visit to Thari-Imbeleko Community Creche (TICC) in Dobsonville.
Management of the Creche approached Pikitup to assist with cleaning the area surrounding their facility, as it is used as an illegal dumping site.
As part of the A Re Sebetseng campaign, Pikitup then approached Avis who pledged their support and erected palisade fencing around the facility at a cost of R255 500.
The Executive Mayor will open the fenced park and engage with management of Thari-Imbeleko and the community to discuss how the City can further assist with keeping their facility and the surrounding park clean and safe.
