Snow White the Ballet at Joburg Theatre
The City of Johannesburg is proud to be in partnership with the Joburg Ballet. This summer, the Joburg Ballet will dazzle audiences with their rendition of the Grimm Brothers’ classic, Snow White. The City’s Joburg theatre is home to some of the most dynamic and exciting young dancers in the country.
Over the years, the Joburg Ballet has produced new and talented young dancers like Megan Geber, who joined their corps de ballet (a group of dancers who are not soloists) when she was only 16.
The Joburg Ballet also has a thriving dance school that gives underprivileged children a chance to join the elite world of ballet. In order to ensure accessibility and inclusivity, the Joburg Ballet’s school fees are set at R200 a month to ensure affordability.
Snow White, the Ballet, has been running from Friday, the 13th of October and will continue until Sunday, the 22nd of October 2017 at the Joburg Theatre. As part of the City’s mandate to ensure that the City’s facilities are accessible to all, the Joburg Ballet offers a range of ticketing options for Snow White.
