City's Revenue Customer Service Centres operating hours for the December/January holiday period
The City of Johannesburg wishes to inform its customers about it revenue Customer Service Centers’ operating hours during the December/January holiday period.
Effectively from the 15th of December 2017, all revenue Customer Service Centers will operate from 7:30 till 15:30 from Monday to Friday, until the 10th of January 2018. It should be noted that Customer Service Centers will not be operating on Saturdays during this period.
“Our revenue customer service centers will be closed on the following days, being 16, 23, 25, 26 and 30th December 2017 as well as 1 and 6 January 2018.” says Maphologela.
From the 11th of January 2018, the Thuso House Customer Service Centre in Braamfontein will revert back to extended operating hours, being 7:30 until 18:00, including all Saturdays from 7:30 until 12:30.
The rest of the category A Customer Service Centers will be operating from 7:30 until 15:30 from Monday to Friday including Saturdays from 7:30 until 12:30 as per normal working hours.
Spokesperson Kgamanyane Maphologela advices customers who wish to pay their accounts to utilize other third parties or pay via EFT using their nine digit account number as reference when paying via the internet.
In order to ensure accounts are timeously paid, customers are advised to pay their accounts using the listed methods below:
• With Easy Pay, facilitating a quick payment option at many shops that you visit on a regular basis, including Pick ‘n Pay and Shoprite Checkers
• Debit orders
• Direct deposits at major banks
• ATMs
• Internet and cell phone banking
• SA Post Office
Customers are advised to continuously make payments to their accounts.
Should your bill delay reaching you, either pay the same amount as the previous month or call Joburg Connect on 0860 Joburg (562 874) to enquire as to how much you owe. You can also register to receive your accounts by email. All you need to do is to register on the City’s website at www.joburg.org.za and your account will be emailed to you monthly.
Paying your account timeously contributes to an interrupted and smooth service delivery to all the residents of the City on time. Customers that have queries can log a query with Joburg Connect at 0860 Joburg (562 874).
