Major burst pipe on the main supply

MMC of Infrastructure, Environment and Service Delivery Cllr Nico De Jager would like to advise residents of the Sandton, Bryanston, Woodmead, Morningside, Alexander, Linbro Park and the surrounding arrears  that there were leaks identified on the main water pipeline that runs through Linbro Park landfill site.

These leaks got repaired but a bigger burst about 10 meters also had to be repaired that affected supply. As a result of the burst pipe supply had to be throttled to avoid reservoirs running dry as the recharging will take longer.
