27/03/2017: City extends condolences to Cllr Sedite’s Family​

On behalf of the City of Johannesburg, I would like to extend heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Cllr Lorraine Sedite who passed away on Saturday.
 
Cllr Sedite diligently served the people of Johannesburg as a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters in Council.
 
Her sacrifice and hard work will never be forgotten.
 
The City of Johannesburg is fortunate to have many men and women who are dedicated public servants, working tirelessly to ensure that our residents get the best in terms of services and opportunities for growth and advancement.
 
It is tragic for us to lose Cllr Sedite so early in our journey to bringing sustainable and lasting change to the residents of Johannesburg.
 
I will be visiting the Cllr Sedite’s family this afternoon to extend my condolences, gratitude and support.
 
My thoughts and prayers are with Cllr Sedite’s family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time.
 
May her soul rest in peace.
