The City of Johannesburg would like to inform and remind all residents that our clinics will continue to offer primary health care services this festive season.
The clinics that do not offer extended hours of service will be closed on Christmas and Day of Goodwill, 25 and 26 December 2018, as well as, New Year’s Day, 1 January 2018.
The following clinics that offer extended hours of service will be open to ensure that access to health services is not interrupted:

I therefore urge all residents, especially those located near clinics with extended hours of service, to make use of this opportunity to access health service during the festive season.

- Child Health, Growth Monitoring & Nutrition
- Youth Friendly Services (YFS)
- Women's Health (e.g. antenatal care, Prevention of Mother-to-Child Treatment (PMTCT), postnatal care, cervical cancer screening)
- Reproductive health services (e.g. Family Planning)
- Men's Health (e.g. Prostate cancer screening)
- Screening services for Chronic diseases
- Curative and Chronic Care
- HIV Testing Services; AIDS Treatment and Adherence Clubs
- Screening for Tuberculosis (TB) & Treatment of TB
- Treatment of Sexually Transmitted Infections
- Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP)
- Mental Health (Primary level)
- Health education/ Promotion
- Healthy lifestyle campaigns in the community, in partnership with a variety of stakeholders
