City employees continue with volunteer clean-up campaign

City employees will once again turn out in their hundreds to clean up in and around the vicinity of their workplaces.

This will take place throughout the city on Wednesday 14 March 2018 between 10am and 2pm. Residents are encouraged to participate and join employees in the cleaning of their areas.

They will also raise awareness about the effects of illegal dumping and littering.

On the 09 February 2018, city employees undertook their first volunteer clean-up campaign in support of A re Sebetseng.

The Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Councillor Herman Mashaba, has led the way with the city’s major clean-up campaign, A Re Sebetseng, with the next one taking place on Saturday 17 March 2018 in Alexandria township near Sandton.
