On Thursday, Executive Mayor Herman Mashaba, MMC for Public Safety Cllr Michael Sun, Chief of Police Mr David Thembe and officials from the Department of Public Safety will hold a wreath laying and memorial service for JMPD Inspector Ayanda Zulu.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning (4 April 2018), Inspector Zulu was leaving her home in Palm Springs when she was confronted by two suspects. She was brutally shot twice during the incident. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries.
The family of the deceased will also be in attendance.
