On Thursday 21 June 2018, youth with a passion for entrepreneurship can look forward to spending the day with technical experts from the city’s Supply Chain Management Office.
This is part of the city’s many youth month commemoration activities in recognition of Youth Month 2018. Dubbed Youth Month Exchange Programme the intention is to provide entrepreneurship and business development information opportunities available in the public and private sector.
It will also assist to promote a dynamic youth entrepreneurship culture that supports youth owned enterprises, facilitate access to markets, financial and non- financial support including business infrastructure and procurement opportunities. Importantly a database for youth entrepreneurs will be developed for continuous engagements.
The programme will be held at the Braamfontein Recreation Centre from 8.30 until 2pm. The city expects about 700 youth to attend based on mobilization efforts throughout the city.
