Today, MMC for Health and Social Development Dr Mpho Phalatse, visits the Joburg Food Expo as part of celebrations for World Food Month.
The expo provides an opportunity to exhibitors, private companies, government departments, institutions of higher learning and industry suppliers to showcase their offerings.
This City of Johannesburg initiative seeks to highlight the importance of food security and urban agriculture, while also creating opportunities for the communities to grow their own food.
