Tomorrow, MMC for Health and Social Development, Dr Mpho Phalatse, will host an education and training session for informal traders on Listeriosis and the importance of hygiene.

During the session, informal traders will be informed about Listeriosis and how to hygienically prepare and handle food in light of the recent outbreak.

Informal Traders play a crucial role in contributing to the City of Johannesburg’s economy and therefore their participation in health education programmes are vital.

Members of the media are welcome to attend.
