The City’s pools have received many visitors since the start of the swimming season, we are happy to see our residents enjoying these public facilities.
Community members should note that the operating hours for the festive season will be as follows:
Pools will be closed on the following dates:
• 25 – 26 December 2018
• 01 January 2019
Additionally, pools will be open for half-days on the following dates:
• 24 December 2018 from 10:00 – 14:00
• 31 December 2018 from 10:00 – 14:00
This will allow our staff to also spend time with their families and loved ones during the festive season.
The safety of our bathers and residents in general remains of paramount importance to us as a City, therefore we are pleading with parents and caregivers to ensure that their little ones are safe at all times while enjoying the use of the pools. We urge all residents using our facilities to adhere to the relevant by-laws to ensure enjoyment for everyone.
