Jewellery, handbags, art and household items are some of the interesting goodies that will be on sale at the monthly Zasekhaya Market.
Affordable, unusual, handmade items will again be on sale at the Zasekhaya Market, taking place on Saturday, 30 May at the Bus Factory in Newtown.
Small wooden sculptures, laundry bins and stunning handbags will be on sale, among other interesting and unique craft items and gifts.
"The Zasekhaya artists will be showcasing their products to people who really love artistic products," said Christabel Zulu, from BUZ Publicity, the market's publicists.
The Bus Factory is on the corner of Henry Nxumalo and President streets, and the market runs from 10am until 4pm. Food and other refreshments will also be on sale.
There is safe parking at the Bus Factory and in Mary Fitzgerald Square. Zasekhaya Market takes place once a month, usually on the last Saturday of the month.
"These artists operate from home and come together once a month to showcase their material. They are from different parts of South Africa," she added.
A range of products, such as jewellery, clothes and items for the home will be on sale. "We do a mixture of many things. We do not limit ourselves only to traditional products. Mostly what we do is more of fashion," said Given Nkula, the manager of the Zasekhaya Market.
