​Orlando Stadium has seen its fair share of magic moments. And now Usher will be in the house too, for the Hansa Festival of Legends.
AMERICAN RnB singer Usher Raymond is coming to Soweto, and will perform at Orlando Stadium on 10 March 2012.

Usher Raymond is coming to SowetoUsher Raymond is coming to SowetoHe will be in the country for the Hansa Festival of Legends tour. The Soweto concert, which is expected to attract over 30 000 music lovers, will also feature six up-and-coming South African bands and musicians.

The six will be winning artists from an ongoing Hansa Pilsner competition in which artists are invited to submit their demos to stand a chance to perform at the concert.

Now 33, Usher began his career as a teenager, though he first came to wide attention in the late 1990s with the release of his second album, My Way. It was his first album to make it to the Billboard Hot 100 in the US.

While he has also put in some time as an actor, the singer-songwriter is still producing the hits. Recently, he collaborated with the French house music star, David Guetta, on the song Without You, which is receiving much local air play.

Worldwide, Usher has sold more than 65 million records. He has also won Grammy Awards, a World Music Award, and six American Music Awards.

The Hansa Festival of Legends tour will also visit Cape Town and Durban. Tickets range from R215 to R455 and are available at Computicket.

There are various hospitality packages as well, such as Platinum, Gold, Public and Mayoral. Prices for these range from R1 250 to R2 700 per person. Gates will open at 12 noon.
