NOTE TO EDITORS: This is a final opportunity receive accreditation for tomorrow’s State of the City Address.

The Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Cllr Herman Mashaba will deliver his inaugural State of the City Address (SoCA) on Wednesday, 03 May 2017 at the new Council Chamber at the Metro Centre.

The State of the City Address will be the Mayor first such address to the City’s residents. During the address, the Mayor will take the opportunity to clearly outline the City’ existing challenges, his administration’s plans to meet those challenges head on and his administration’s successes since taking office.

Members of the media wishing to cover the event are requested to RSVP their attendance by this morning, 11:00 am for accreditation purposes.

Accreditation must be collected in person from the Mayor’s Office at 14:00.

Only those with accreditation will be permitted access to the venue.
