On Wednesday, 17 May 2017, Executive Mayor for the City of Johannesburg, Cllr Herman Mashaba and MMC for Public Safety, Cllr Michael Sun, will host a graduation ceremony for 117 Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) officers.
After intensive training, these officers will officially join the team of men and woman who are tasked with the major responsibility to keep our residents safe.
The City is proud to not only officially welcome these officers to the Department, but to also create much needed jobs and enhance the task force that keep criminal elements in our City at bay.
Members of the media are welcome to attend this event.
