Written and performed by the esteemed Zane Meas, with visionary direction by Campbell Meas, this captivating production promises a journey into the vibrant life of the renowned author, Chris van Wyk.

Van Wyk, who sadly passed away in October 2014, was an award-winning and internationally published author. His work spanned poetry, children's and young adult books, short stories, and novels.
“Shirley, Goodness & Mercy: A Childhood Memoir" (2004) garnered critical acclaim, becoming a South African bestseller and shortlisted for the prestigious Sunday Times Alan Paton Award. He followed this success with “Eggs to Lay, Chickens to Hatch: A Memoir" (2010), another captivating exploration of his childhood.
Zane Meas, renowned for his versatility and depth, doesn't merely impersonate Van Wyk. He delivers a transformative performance, embodying the very essence of the author. This insightful portrayal promises to resonate deeply with audiences, offering a glimpse into Van Wyk's soul and celebrating the enduring power of storytelling.
