Robust debates and deep arguments are expected when the City of Johannesburg hosts a crucial two-day entrepreneurship summit at the Joburg Theatre next week.

City officials chose 50 entrepreneurs from seven regional symposia held through the month of October to help Joburg craft an all-inclusive entrepreneurship blueprint.

The group will be added to the growing number of stakeholders who play a part in small business development to help the City of Joburg achieve 5% economic growth in the next five years.

 “The City of Johannesburg has put its money where its mouth is. In the past year, we have supported 15 000 entrepreneurs with resources and we plan to do more in future,” says Cllr Knott.
