The City of Johannesburg hosted an Open Day at its newly established Waterfall Customer Service Centre in Midrand this past Saturday, September 14.

The event is a continuation of a series of Open Days aimed at improving customer centricity by bringing additional services to our customers’ doorstep in some of our major regional offices.

Through Open Days, the City allocates a fully-functional team from all relevant departments to personally attend to customer queries.

“Customers with outstanding queries older than 30 days are invited to attend these open days and have them resolved on the spot.  Customer relations agents, City valuers, rates experts, City Power and Joburg Water representatives, meter readers, to name just a few, are at hand to assist customers in,” said MMC for Finance, Councillor Funzela Ngobeni.
