What is the Query Logger (LA Connect)?


The Query Logger, also known as LA Connect, is an online platform developed by the City's Legal Administration Department to improve communication, transparency, and service delivery. It allows members of the public and consultants to:

  • Log queries related to post-decision applications and legal administration processes
  • Provide feedback or rate their experience with officials
  • Track and escalate matters that require attention

The system ensures that all queries are centrally recorded, monitored, and addressed within the Department.

How Does It Work?
When you submit a query:

  • Your query is logged and assigned a reference number
  • The relevant official is notified
  • The matter is monitored and escalated where necessary
  • Management reviews all queries and feedback to improve service delivery

Important to Know
The Query Logger is intended for follow-ups on existing Legal Administration matters, specifically post-decision applications. Queries should be logged:

  • Once all required documents and information have been submitted, and
  • When the relevant turnaround time has been exceeded

Turnaround times are calculated in working days and may exclude processes outside the control of Legal Administration.
