Chris Brown delivered two electrifying, sold-out performances at FNB Stadium this weekend, drawing over 180,000 fans. Sunday night featured a memorable moment as South Africa’s R&B sensation, Elaine, took the stage alongside Major League DJz, surprising the crowd with her appearance.
“Opening for Chris Brown at FNB Stadium this year was truly surreal,” Elaine said. “I’m deeply grateful for this incredible platform and my loyal fans, whose support means everything to me. It’s an honor to lead the South African R&B movement and make an impact globally. Witnessing the growth of Rhythm and Piano (RnP)—a genre close to my heart—has been especially rewarding. This experience is a testament to the power of passion and perseverance.”
Elaine thrilled the audience with a fresh Amapiano remix of her hit single You’re the One, blending her sultry vocals seamlessly with Major League DJz’s signature Amapiano beats.
The performance comes on the heels of Elaine’s debut album release, Stone Cold Heart. Known for her introspective lyrics and captivating R&B sound, Elaine takes her artistry to new heights with this visual album—a blend of music and cinematography that immerses fans in her world. The album marks a bold evolution in her career, fusing her R&B roots with elements of Amapiano and house music, solidifying her position as a pioneer in South Africa’s music scene.
