Tomorrow, Tuesday 9 April 2019, Executive Mayor, Cllr Herman Mashaba, will provide detailed information on how law enforcement agencies, spheres of government and Chapter 9 institutions are being used to wage a political war against the City of Johannesburg and its multi-party government.
It is apparent that the change being delivered in Johannesburg poses a real threat to the ANC.
The City’s efforts to combat corruption is turning off the taps to ilicit party funding. In addition, job creation and service delivery is exposing their past failures. Now, as the elections approach, the ANC has turned to state institutions to wage a war against the City.
During the course of the press conference, Mayor Mashaba will outline extensive details of the weaponisation of state institutions against the City and how the multi-party government in Johannesburg will respond.
This abuse of state institutions and resources cannot be allowed to continue unanswered.
Our multi-party government will not stand by idly while the ANC uses captured institutions to wage a war on its behalf.
