Nearly four months to the day since the Executive Mayor, Councillor Herman Mashaba, attended a sod-turning ceremony to mark the beginning of the electrification of the Heavenly Valley informal settlement near Klipspruit West. Tomorrow, the Mayor will return to Heavenly Valley be part of a switch on ceremony for the community.
The Mayor will be joined by the MMC for Environment and Infrastructure Services, Cllr Nico de Jager, and City Power officials.
