On Monday, 11 February 2019, the Executive Mayor Herman Mashaba will be joined by the MMC for Economic Development, Cllr Leah Knott, in handing over title deeds to business owners at the Diepkloof Multipurpose Hall in Soweto.
This is part of the Johannesburg Property Company’s (JPC) Land Regularisation Programme (LRP), an initiative by the City of Johannesburg to redress the distribution of council owned land.
The process of land regularisation is an important initiative, which, if tackled effectively will act as a catalyst for development benefiting communities, small enterprises and developers.
There will be opportunities for the media to conduct interview and take photos.
