Three hundred young women to graduate from City’s training programme

Tomorrow, Friday, 21 June 2019, the Member of the Mayoral Committee for Health and Social Development, Dr Mpho Phalatse, will officiate the graduation ceremony of over 300 young women who successfully completed skill development programmes run by the City.

The programmes are designed to empower young women through a series of structured engagements with the objective of empowering women towards economic independence.

The target group is young women between 18-35 years, who successfully participated in the programme and who completed at least 80% of the modules.
