On Wednesday morning, 22 May 2019, the MMC for Finance in the City of Joburg, Councillor Funzela Ngobeni will deliver the City of Johannesburg Budget Speech for 2019/20 as delegated to him by the Executive Mayor, Councillor Herman Mashaba.
This will take place in the new Council Chambers at the Metro Centre.
The Budget Speech will give the City of Johannesburg an opportunity to give overarching plans, programmes and priorities of the City to improve service delivery to its residents and various stakeholders.
Members of the media are invited to the accreditation session, pre - Budget Speech Day, where they will get accreditation and given details of the logistics for Budget Speech Day.
