Did you know that applications for the City of Johannesburg’s Debt Rehabilitation Programme closes on the 30th of November 2019?
Through the programme, qualifying customers receive an immediate 50% debt write off.
They also have to keep their current accounts up to date and allow for regular inspection of their metered services. The outstanding debt will be written off over a three-year period.
Therefore, customers who have not taken advantage of this once off opportunity for financial freedom -- now is the time -- because there’s only 9 days left!
To qualify, residential customers must meet the following criteria:
• Be in arrears for more than 90 days as at 30 June 2019.
• Have a combined gross income which is between R4 750 and R22 000 per month; and
• Their property market value must not exceed R600 000.00.
In addition, the City has extended the working hours at our walk in centres in order to assist customers with their applications. The offices listed below will be open on Saturday the 23/11/2019 and 30/11/2019.from 07:30-15:30.
